Manual Therapy

This specialized therapy utilizes a “hands-on” approach to treatment. Manual therapy treatments includes massage, joint manipulation, soft tissue mobilization, myofascial release, mobilization of neural tissue, and more.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a technique of using fine needles into specific points on the body with the aim of reducing inflammation, pain and increase mobility. This is an effective treatment for headaches and chronic pain syndromes.

Education

Proper knowledge is vital to help recover from injuries and to prevent future occurrence. Education includes injury prevention, postural correction, back and neck care, home and workplace ergonomics, and pain management.

Therapeutic Modalities

Modalities are specialized therapeutic equipment used during treatment that helps reduce inflammation, pain, and muscle spasms and enhance tissue healing.

Sports Therapy

Sports therapy includes all treatments specific to sports related injuries. Athletic taping and specialized exercise catered to each individual sport is particular of interest with treating such injuries.

Exercise Therapy

Exercise is especially important after injury. Exercises that we provide may include muscle stretching and strengthening, balance and coordination, cardiovascular retraining, and core stabilization.

Active Rehabilitation Program

Lead by a highly experienced physiotherapist that is trained for many years in work conditioning and personal training. The goal of the program is to help increase strength, flexibility, function and general conditioning to individuals after an injury.

Vestibular 
Rehabilitation

Vestibular therapy can help to diminish dizziness and balance problems, and its treatment efficacy can be determined within 3-4 visits. This treatment utilizes careful assessment, specialized techniques and specific exercise.

Intramuscular Stimulation

An effective treatment for chronic pain, the effects of IMS are cumulative. Needling stimulates a certain amount of healing, until eventually, the condition is healed and the pain disappears.

Radial Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive alternative to surgery and cortisone injections. This is often used to treat the pain of long-standing soft tissue injuries such as plantar fascitis, tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, and tendonitis in the shoulder, hip, knee, or foot.

Spinal Decompression

Spinal Traction is a form of decompression therapy that relieves pressure on the spine. Traction is used to treat sciatica, herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, pinched nerves and other spinal conditions. 

Post Operative Rehabilitation

Our Physiotherapists are trained to help all types of Post Operative Rehab and have extensive experience with Total Knee Replacements (TKR) and Total Hip Replacements (THR). Physiotherapy will optimize recovery and should begin once you are discharged from the hospital.
